C-300 Commemorative Plaque

The C-300 Committee is a non-profit organization created in 2006 to organize events throughout the year in celebration of Chestertown's tercentennial. Among the goals of the C-300 Committee was to create something to commemorate the Historic Port of Chestertown. The committee asked South Fork Studio for help designing, locating, and working with Chestertown in approving the new feature.
The commemorative feature was a gift to the Town of Chestertown; which meant maintenance of the feature needed to be minimal. South Fork Studio designed an engraved granite medallion with bronze plaque in the center underneath which a time capsule would be placed. The medallion was approved and ultimately installed at the foot of High Street, guaranteeing it will be seen and appreciated by all those visiting the waterfront.
